Admission Requirements

Graduate School

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally-accredited college or university or the equivalent from a foreign institution
  • GPA – 3.0 on all undergraduate work (or last half-degree) and a 3.0 on any graduate work already completed

Program Requirements

  • 3 letters of recommendation – one from employer –not friend/relative
  • Statement of purpose- motivation to attend LSU Sport Management program, including personal and career goals, and your commitment to excellence
  • GRE target score of 295 or GMAT target score of 560

The admission policies of the School of Kinesiology provide a possible alternative to the GRE/GMAT requirement for applicants who have a 3.0 G.P.A. in their last 60 hours of undergraduate work.
