Many students are eligible for financial aid to help offset the cost of tuition and fees for online degrees and certificates, so explore all of your options and determine what works best for you.

How much does an online degree cost?

The cost of an online degree will depend on the institution and the program you choose. On average, online degrees tend to cost less than traditional on-campus programs due to lower overhead costs. However, the cost of tuition and fees can vary, so it is important to research your options and contact the institution for more information. At LSU Online, you can find the cost per credit hour of each program on its program page.

Are there any additional costs associated with online degrees?

In addition to tuition, there may be additional fees for services such as technology, student activities, and laboratory courses. These fees may also vary depending on the program and institution. Again, research the specific program you are interested in to determine if there are any additional costs and what they are. You can contact an Enrollment Coach for help determining the fees of any program offered through LSU Online.
