If you applied to LSU and didn’t receive a letter of admission, you don’t have to hit pause on your future. With the LSU Online Opportunity Pathway, students can begin their academic journey online through LSU Eunice (LSUE) and transfer directly into LSU after meeting eligibility requirements.
This innovative initiative provides an accessible route to an LSU degree for students who may not qualify for admission right away but are ready to keep moving forward. Through LSUE’s online programs, students can earn transferable college credits while learning on their schedule and receiving one-on-one support along the way.
Who is Eligible?
This pathway is available to students who applied to LSU as undergraduate students and were not admitted. If you’ve received a letter of opportunity from LSU, you’re eligible to take advantage of this fully online transfer pathway through LSUE.
What Programs Are Available?
Through LSU Online, students can enroll in flexible, accredited online programs offered by LSUE. These programs are designed to give you a strong foundation while keeping you on track toward a bachelor’s degree from LSU.
- Certificate of General Studies: This is a fast, foundational program that helps you meet transfer requirements quickly. Ideal for students who want to explore their academic interests while completing credits that transfer into LSU.
- Associate Degrees from LSUE: Prefer to build out a more comprehensive set of credits? LSUE offers several associate degrees that can also help you meet the transfer requirements and prepare for success in your chosen major.
What Happens After LSUE?
Once you’ve successfully completed your coursework and met the necessary GPA and transfer criteria, you can continue your degree at LSU in one of the following programs:
