Activate Your myLSU and Workday Student Credentials
You should have received an email with your username and LSUID. It may take 2-3 business days to arrive following your acceptance letter. Create a password and set up MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication). You will also need to log into Workday Student to complete tasks for registration, course advising, and financial aid. For assistance, contact LSU IT at 225-578-3375 or view Workday resources webpage.

Complete the Online Orientation Course
Learn all about your online classroom by completing the Starting Strong course. You will log in with your LSU email and myLSU login information. For help navigating the myLSU applications, view this article.

Meet with an Academic Advisor
Once admitted, you will be assigned an Academic Advisor who will be available to answer all of your questions or concerns. Your Student Success Coach cannot provide academic advising, but they will be available to assist you with enrolling in courses.

Enroll in Courses
Once you’ve completed Academic Advising, you are now ready to enroll in courses. To view course offerings on Workday Student, watch this video or view the guide. Be sure to select an academic period that has “online” in the title. For more information on scheduling/dropping/swapping courses, view the “Academics” tab of the Workday Resources for Students webpage.

Purchase Course Materials
Search for your course materials and obtain the required materials prior to the start of your classes.

Prepare for your Courses
To ensure you’re set up for success, prepare for important dates by viewing the Academic Calendar and selecting “LSU Online.” You can also contact your Instructor prior to the start of class by going to myLSU>Directory Information>LSU Directory and searching their name as (Last name, first initial).
