Create a password and set up MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication). You will also need to log into Workday Student to complete tasks for registration, course advising, and financial aid. This guide provides a step-by-step on how to view your bill, make payments, and enroll in a payment plan. Questions about your bill or payments? Please contact Bursar Operations.

Accounting Services › 

For assistance with billing or payment plans, contact Accounting Services at 225-578-3357 or bursar@lsu.edu. Be certain to include your full name, student ID, and specify your status as an online student.

Once admitted, you will be assigned an Academic Advisor who will be available to answer all of your questions or concerns. Your Student Success Coach cannot provide academic advising, but they will be available to assist you with enrolling in courses.

Once you’ve completed Academic Advising, you are now ready to enroll in courses. To view course offerings on Workday Student, watch this video or view the guide. Be sure to select an academic period that has “online” in the title. For more information on scheduling/dropping/swapping courses, view the “Academics” tab of the Workday Resources for Students webpage.

Search for your course materials and obtain the required materials prior to the start of your classes.

To ensure you’re set up for success, prepare for important dates by viewing the Academic Calendar and selecting “LSU Online.” You can also contact your Instructor prior to the start of class by going to myLSU>Directory Information>LSU Directory and searching their name as (Last name, first initial).

To access your student portal, you'll need to set up your MyLSUA account:

1. Visit lsua.it/accountsetup.
2. Enter your Social Security Number in the first prompt.
3. Complete the remaining fields as prompted.
4. Check "I have read and agree to LSUA Network and Computer Policies." Do not check "I am enrolled at LSUE, High School Student, UA CenLA Student, or LSUA Faculty/Staff member unless this pertains to you.
5. Submit the form to receive your LSUA username, which will also serve as your student email (USERNAME@lsua.edu).

Complete the Online Onboarding Course in Moodle to learn about your online classroom. For directions on how to access the Online Student Onboarding in Moodle, click here. Earn at least 80% to receive a badge on your Moodle profile.

You can get course recommendations in three ways: meet 1:1 with your advisor, attend a Group Scheduling session, or view Course Recommendations via Degree Navigator. While your Student Success Coach cannot provide academic advising, they can assist with enrolling in courses.

Once you've completed Academic Advising, you are now ready to enroll in courses. If you need more assistance, view this guide on scheduling courses. Note: It is recommended to register for Elearn1 and Elearn2 at the same time.

To purchase materials through myLSUA, log in and click the Student Menu at the top right. Select Purchase Textbooks, choose your semester, and click submit. You can also find course materials through the bookstore.

Note: Bookstore credits can only be used at the start of the semester, and it is recommended to purchase course materials for both sessions at the same time. View this guide for more information.

To ensure you’re set up for success, prepare for important dates by viewing the Academic Calendar, looking specifically for ELearn1 or ELearn2.

To access MyLSUE and your LSUE email, use your Student ID as your username and enter your default password starting with !Su3 followed by your birth date (ex.!Su3MMDDYYYY). Access your LSUE email through the "Email" tab in MyLSUE. If you have trouble logging in, contact IT at it@lsue.edu or call 337-550-1307.

Learn all about your online classroom by completing the Orientation for Online Students course. You will log in with your name and LSUE ID number.

Business Affairs Office › 

For assistance with billing or payment plans, contact the Business Affairs Office at 337-550-1262 or businessaffairs@lsue.edu. Be certain to include your full name, student ID, and specify your status as an online student.

Once admitted, you'll be assigned an Academic Advisor who will guide you through course selection and answer any questions. Note: Students cannot register for courses themselves—your advisor will input your schedule for you. While your Student Success Coach isn’t involved in this initial scheduling process, they can assist if you need to re-add courses due to non-payment.

After your advisor has set up your schedule, you can review your courses in myLSUE. If needed, you may make changes to your schedule after the initial registration. To purchase the required materials for your courses from the bookstore, use the Textbook Lookup. Some materials may be available through Bengal Access in a digital format at a lower cost.

Once you’ve completed Academic Advising, you are now ready to enroll in courses. You can view course offerings using the Class Schedule. E-Textbooks provides information on how to locate required textbooks. You can find which texts are required in the course syllabus located in Moodle.
